The Weight of the Nation is a four-part documentary series airing on HBO on May 14-15 which features case studies and interviews with leading experts and with individuals and families struggling with obesity. The series spotlights the facts and myths of this urgent public health issue, and shows how obesity affects the health of the nation — and what individuals and communities can do. We hope you will join us to learn more about this pressing health issue and for a community dialogue.

This event is being lead by MedCentral, the Mansfield Area Y, and the Mansfield/Ontario/Richland County Health Department.

The Goodman Collection, dating back to the 1940's, first arrive at The Ohio State University Mansfield as a donation from the late Marion and Wynn Goodman of Mansfield. The collection includes works of notable artists such as Pablo Picasso, Jean Miro, Wassily Kandinsky, david A. Siquieros, Triniad Osorio, Masao Iwama, and Pedro Friedeberg. The OSU-M/NCSC Arts & Lectures Committee is pleased to sponsor this event. The collection will be displayed in the Eisenhower Student Union and the Bromfield Information Commons throughout the month of May.
