| This year, the Mechanical Engineering Technology students had a number of projects to work on. The projects included: (1) designing and fabricating an adapter for a digital camera, to be used by a person with limited use of his hands; (2) designing and building a set of milling fixtures to enable Denton ATD Company to automate a manual machining process for the spine box in a crash dummy; (3) designing and building an Interactive Play Station to be used at the Raintree Center for severely handicapped individuals, and (4) the continuation of building a three-wheel gas-powered car that has been an ongoing effort by previous project classes. | |||
